Turkey supports protection of Harar heritages

One of Harari Heritages
Turkish Corporation and Cooperation Agency promises to strengthen ongoing support to protect tourist attraction sites and heritages in Harar city.
Agency Deputy President, Harun Tuncer and Tourism and Heritages Bureau Head of the Region Muhidin Ahmed signed agreement to renovate historical sites in the region.
The agreement is hoped to enable Ethiopia and Turkey to further boost existing cultural relations as well as people-to-people ties.
Muhidin admired the Turkish government for undertaking activities to help the regional government achieve its endeavors in keeping its heritages.
The Jegol Wall, which is constructed in the 16th century, residence of the French Poet Arthur Rimbaud, museums and artifacts are among the tourist attraction sites in the city.
