After lengthy, difficult and complicated deliberations the Ethiopian court passed life sentence on the two criminal brothers. Ramadan Idris and Saddi Idris on first degree murder of respected and professional civil servant Hashim Idris.
The conviction of the two brothers along two other employee of Harari regional government on March 16, 2012 is a clear and direct message and deterrent to other gangsters undermining the rules and the laws of the country according to media
